Jungle Cat Comedy

One of New York City’s fastest-growing comedy showcases comes to Lincoln Center’s Summer for the City festival. Jungle Cat Comedy is a stand-up series created to spotlight comedians from diverse backgrounds and lived experiences, offering a lineup that reflects the city’s multicultural comedy scene while delivering an evening of sharp, contemporary humor.
Curated and hosted by comedians Abby Govindan and Mohanad Elshieky, the series has earned a reputation for featuring emerging and established comics whose material explores identity, culture, politics, relationships, and everyday life with wit and originality. Paste Magazine praised the show for creating space for performers to present their authentic voices while maintaining a consistently hilarious lineup.
Part of Lincoln Center’s Summer for the City festival, the performance takes place in the intimate David Rubenstein Atrium, one of the city’s premier venues for free live performances. Audience members should note that the show contains adult themes and mature language.
